On getting a new House

Before our baby Matt came, We are planning to get a house and lot.
Although, We are already living in our condo because that was our first investment before we got married, but it's a studio type which is only good for a couple. We are planning to get one atleast before Matt start his school. We are dreaming to give our little Matt an ample space for him to play and for all of his stuffs!

We went to Las Pinas for site visit, we like the place because it's peaceful and near to different establishments. And it's not being flooded, which is our no.1 concern! There are different schools inside the village so it would not be a problem when time Matt needs to go to school. The Mall is also near the village. We feel that it's convient to live there.. But, the place is bit far from my work place. I need to travel for 2 hours everyday back and fort to the office. The location is also far from our relatives..

Hay, we still need the sign and we hope that God will guide us in getting the perfect "Home sweet Home" for our family. For our kid and future kids...

I guess you are too young for that game anak.  Recently, I was also amazed that you also know how to  choose and watch your favorite application. Given that it's an educational application but I think that's too early for you to learn to navigate that gadget. Maybe I am just little conservative mom, but we need to limit your usage of that little gadget.

If you want to use the Ipad you call it "paypad"...

If you are bored of what you are watching you say aya: "ayow"..

Once you opened the application you say "ayan".

Hay, Ibang level ka.. Nakakaloko ka anak!

As early as 1 year old our little Matt shows his interest in reading books! :) He just sit and sometimes read a book by himself. Mommy and Matt enjoys reading book together, even before he's only 6 mos old we read books before we sleep.
Our little bookworm @13 mos knows how to hold the book properly

Here are his collection of books, bought by Mommy as pasalubong everytime I went to office and Dadda too!  We even put a mini library in our room for this books.

This time Mommy is so sleepy, but Matt still likes to sleep. He just grab the book and read by himself. Suddenly I noticed that he fell asleep while reading. You are so cute, I hope that you will be book lover until you grow up.

Letter to my Son Joaquin Matthew

Dear Matt,
You are now 1 year old. That means that we were together for 366 days. I too turned 1 year old of being a mom! I'll always want to tell you that you are my greatest achievement, my greatest gift, my happiness! You always surprise me with your everyday little actions.

I still remember when I am outside the nursery room and waiting for you, I can't help but I cried and finally we met already. I said to myself, "So, this is what how Me and  your Dadda's love looks like...".

Maybe you were wondering why sometimes I need to leave you. Sometimes I also cry, it’s so hard to say good bye and to be apart with you but Mommy needs to go for work.

I always wanted the best for you but I admit that I am not the best of mom for you yet. Still, I hope you can be patient with me. I admit that sometimes I did mistake, but please understand that I am Mom in progress.

You are my best miracle. You came so unexpectedly. You are Dadda and Ahmi’s greatest anniversary gift. I already felt your love with your little kicks and punches while you were in my tummy. I’m glad that you are so obedient and you reacted so well when I say “Anak paramdam ka naman kay Mommy or Anak wag mo papahirapan si Mommy ha.”

I felt that it was just a month ago when I first held you in my arms; you are the most adorable creature I’ve ever seen. Your feet, your hands are so cute! Dadda was so proud that you were his little look alike. When you came into my life, I knew I will always have someone in my life who will never regret having me.

You grow so fast! I am happy that I witnessed your little amazing acts and new talents. They said your development was advanced compared to others. You are much bigger than other babies who is the same as your age.

You enjoyed your first bath and I am proud that I am the only one who did that while Dadda was the first one carried you outside for you to see the morning sunshine. You had your Dadda’s way of sleeping. And oh, how I love the smell of your morning breath and the way you smile whenever I see you wake up. You surprised us in your own little way. One day you shouted “Dadda” while everyone was busy and you were looking to Dadda on the laptop. And when Mommy was so busy preparing for work you whispered “Ahmi”. The way you called me as “Mamamama Ahmi” and look at me wherever I go melted my heart. You surprise us showing your love to us in your little ways. It was so priceless anak.

It was on your first day in our house when I asked you to smile for Mommy, I don’t know if you understand it already but I caught you smiled while you were asleep. Your cord was removed already when you were 1 week old. You could turn your head to left when you were 2weeks old. You tried to strengthen your body sometimes when you were a month old. You first laugh and giggles when Tita Una was talking to you while she’s holding on a baby milk bath. Do you think that’s your milk? You At 6 mos old you discovered the use of your legs and feet. When we sing you “Dandarandadnanadan” You jump jump jump! You never get tired of jumping and because of that you developed firmed muscles on your legs. You begin to be so playful that you burned in your fats. When we feed solids and a piece did not shoot on your mouth you push it with your little finger. You already knows what you like, when I brought you to the department store and put you on the 3 different walkers I see in your reaction which one you like. You like the one with a horse! It was on your 7th month when I heard little noise while you were eating then I just noticed you had your first 2 upcoming teeth! You were 8th month when you heard children singing carols you dance cheerfully! Dadda send out his advance Christmas gift, it’s a Lebron James rubber shoes. That was your first famous and expensive rubber shoes! That makes you popular when some teenage guys looks and get envy with your shoes! How lucky you are son! It was also after Christmas season when we rushed you to the hospital. You had high fever and had convulsion. That was the scariest moment of my life; I prayed and asked God that I don’t know what to do if I will lose you. Mommy felt so weak and it was so hard for me to see you on that situation but I have to fight and be brave for you. I felt how much I am important to your life that you don’t want anyone to carry you except me that you repeatedly called me “Ahmi”.Thank you for being brave anak.

Every month we celebrated your monthly birthday, when you were a month old only Ahmi and Dadda loves to eat your cake, then you learned how to look on the cake design, smashed I allowed you to taste on your 9th month. You’re having fun playing with water during your bath time. You

We were also surprised that you know the use of cellular fon, you got a cellphone and placed it in your ears and murmurs “papapapapa”. You are so adorable! You loves to eat fruits and veggies that every dinner you ate grapes for your dessert. You also loves to read books, and play piano. You like to feed yourself on your 10th month! You enjoys riding arcade car, drive Tatay’s car and play with your toy car. Do you want to be a future racer anak? You can’t sleep if mommy was not with you, you put your arms on my neck and hugs me until you fell asleep. You surprisingly kiss me to my lips and that was so touchy. And during mass you kisses all of the family during the “Peace be with you”. You really learned fast! You are trying to walk by yourself, having fun playing with Tita Una’s dog on your 11th month. You cried and I really felt that you are sad when seeing me going out for work are the apple of the eye of everyone in the family. I am super blessed to be part of your milestones, we will still have more!

Anak Matt, Thank you for being so sweet to Mommy. Thank you for being my best friend and I hope that I am we will be best friend forever. I pray that you grow up to be independent, loving person, healthy and a God fearing person.

When you came into my life, I knew I will never be alone again. I knew I will always have someone in my life who will never regret having me, someone who'll keep me from all of my fears and insecurities. Life without you is unmanageable. We are not this happy without you anak. You and Dadda are my life now, my strength, my everything.

Thank you for the first year of pure bliss. I’m sure we will have more.

I love you son..

Ahmi

I'm running out of words..

This post is not about Matt, not about my parenting..It's about my work.. Ughhh.. I have a project that's been due because of stress I was hospitalized and need to rest for two weeks. So another 2 weeks passed and I still not yet delivered this task. I'm not yet done with my documentation, not to mention that I am busy too for past few weeks though.  Ugh.. So what is this task about? I need to conduct training for 250 IT users in our company! Oh my gulay! 250 users with different nationalities..Nose bleed!  This one is really a challenge for me. GREAT CHALLENGE!!! I need to do this every month! I know in myself that I am not good in delivering words. Sometimes I am running out of words in the middle of my report during my school days. And now, I'm oblige to do this task. I don't have a formal training for this system and now maybe most of my audience assume I am an expert.. Maybe I should look on the positive side.. And should be great that my boss has a great trust on me. I should not turn him of. I know back of this there's a reason. I need to conquer my fear.. I need to focus.. focus... focus.. Good Luck to me. .Help me oh Lord. Please..
