April 19 - Matt's 1st ABC Party

Hello Matty,

Happy 1st Birthday! I have a separate letter on how much I am so grateful to have you as my son.
We postponed your party because we waited for Dadda to be back home so we celebrated your birthday at your (our) house!
We had an ABC themed birthday party for you. Ate Ien Ien also celebrated her birthday with you because you both have same birthdate! It's a successful party! Thanks to all your Tito's, Tita's and Grandparents for helping Ahmi to prepare the party. Ngayon lang ulit nagkaroon ng Childrens Party sa house ng mga lola mo after several years!
The Celebrants -Matt and Ien
Nag longest greeting ka pa for yourself! - Happy Birthday Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttt!!!

Foods!
Thanks to Lola Ellen for the yummy spaghetti and to other Lola in Preparing the food!

The Kiddos
The kids enjoyed  the games and the food!

After the party
We were able to have our family picture together via skype! Good Morning Dadda! He wasn't able to attend due to our timezones.. You had a great bycicle gift from Ninang Kaye!
A for effort ang decorations for your party. ABC themed talaga diba anak? Thanks to all our relatives who helped out.  Medyo nagkaron nga lang ng cars, we will be using that for your main party..
Again happy birthday anak! All of us thank God for having you. You are great gift from above! :)

January 7 - Day 3 in Hospital (Finally, Thank you oh Lord)

Finally! You did not have fever for 24 hours kaya pwede ka na madischarge! Yoohoo!
Humabol si Ninang Sahlee as your visitor. So another charge for the hospital bill. Pero ok lang atleast, it's your last day na. I feel that you were so tired with your left hand. Mabigat ba anak? One time there were nursing assistant who came and changed the bed sheet. You  began to cry and when the other nurse came near you pinaghahampas mo sa braso..hahaha. Ginantihan mo ba Matt?

You were so curious looking at the nurse assisting you. Brave ng little boy ko, you did not cry when the IV was removed.

Thank you Papa God, Thank you Mama Mary, Thank you Padre Pio for another miracle!

January 6 - Hospital Day 2 (Phobia to Nurse)

We moved in to single room unit. Napaka bilis ng metro sa Lourdes Hospital! I afraid na baka lumobo
Our little Matt had a phobia with nurses. Tusukan for skin test? Kuhanan ng dugo? Lahat ng yan di mo pa naiintindihan anak..But that's for your own good anak.. You were so bored inside the room. You cried out loud, pati ako naiiyak and I blamed the nurse na baka hindi ayos pagkakalagay nila ng IV. Suddenly when we walk near the door you stop crying. Aha! You jump jump while  we were outside, sa wakas nakakita ka na din ng ibang tao no? But when you see anurse, you cried!hahaha..

On and off pa din ang fever ng baby namin. They gave you antibiotic already.
Doctor ordered if you don't have fever on the next day pwede ka na ma discharge.
I prayed and called Padre Pio again to ask for his healing miracle. I put on his novena under your shirt.
I asked thru his intercession to heal you and promised to hear mass on his chapel on Sunday.
Padre Pio, Mama Mary, Papa God.. Please heal our little Matt..

I made it! yahooo!!!

Nov 1- All Saint’s Day, we are staying with my sister at our condo and nothing to do. We can’t go to the cemetery because of my little son.  After lunch  we decided to go to SM, the place is just near but transpo is hard because our only option is to ride a pedicab then jeepney.
And hooray! I was able to drive all by my self! Matt and my sister were on the passenger seat of course.
At first I asked the guard if I could just park on the lobby and luck me! I was able to find a slot! I just called the guard for me to guide since I am a new driver. Good thing Kuya guard was impatiently guide me and see I parked it verywell!
