Happy 3rd Birthday to you my sweetest  "JOAQUIN"!

Yes, I'm calling you as JOAQUIN and that's what you want us to call you. A little bit history, it is because I think of the teenage actor Daniel Padilla where he had a teleserye and his name there was Joaquin. That is what I am thinking why did you prefer to be called as Joaquin rather than Matt. 

Anak, I can't believe how time flies so fast from being a our baby boy to toddler and now you are a preschooler na. I so love everytime we were together, there are no dull moments. You have shown me how important I am to your life that I should take care of myself because of you.


Here are some highlights of what you (we) have done before you turned 3 years old!


I am always excited to be home because I know you are always waiting for me to read you books! (28 mos)

You don't like to wear super hero costumes, scary costumes.. But allowed Mommy to make you a the cutest scarecrow for trick or treat! (31 mos)

You love your cousins Kuya Tim and Ate Ien! (31 mos)

How you wish to have a pet. Even to bring a goat to our house. (32 mos)

You are so happy to have your first fish pets as our Christmas gift. (32 mos)

You are no longer scared riding horses even if Mommy was not with you.  (32 mos)

You are so adorable and walked by yourself at Ninang Kaye's wedding. (33 mos)

You love to sing! I think you will be a good singer when you grow up! 

But the only song you always like to sing in videoke is "Pusong Bato" haha (33 mos)

You want to have family picture even before we sleep! (34 mos)

You learned how to share your toys  and make friends! (34 mos)

Oh, you love to help mommy in our household chores! (34 mos)

Like father, like son! Both of you loves basketball shoes! You even suggested which one looks better! (34 mos)

Oh! Congratulations you were no longer using milk bottles when drinking milk!(35 mos)

I love how much you love to kiss ME! You are my little lover boy! Thank you for all your love!

Yey! My baby Boy is reall Big Boy na talaga! Thanks to these fancy straws, he's not using his milk bottles anymore at 35 months!

Good Job anak! And we changed his milk na pala from Progress Gold to Nido!

Matt's first drawing!

As the start of this year, I realized that I need to teach Matt to write, draw and have interest in arts and crafts rather than palying ipad or watching tv. But, I was dissappointed when he told me that he doesn't want to write. Ok, maybe I'll just have to accept that it was still too early or he doesn't have interest yet in writing or drawing.

But just yesterday, while I was busy working at my Mom's house my brother came to me and said: "Ate, ang galing magdrawing ni Matt!" I was like:huh. Eh di nga sya marunong mag hawak pa ng lapis. 

To my curiosity, I go outside, and found this drawing on the street!! I was amazed too! He was just 33mos old, my mom said, he asked Matt if he could draw a Man.. Heheh. 

   

Before we sleep, I asked him if he is the one who draw that. And he said yes, then I asked if that was a man...He answered back: "that's chicken." Oo nga naman mas mukha palang chicken. 

I'm sorry son, if I understimate you.. You never fail me talaga. I'm so proud of you, Love you!

Matt: Mommy, is it morning?

Me: Yes, it's Morning

Matt: Mommy, (with tapik sa face) Good Morning.. (in a soft voice)

Aww.. I love Mornings, I so love waking up with my two boys!!

Trick or Treat 2013

I always feel like a kid everytime there's a trick or treat party.  I just remembered that when I entered the corporate world, my former team was so creative to prepare for this event.. Unfortunately, I didn't experience to join trick or treat when I was a kid. Siguro hindi palang uso or di nakakaisip ng kaartehan ang magulang ko. haha. So before I told my self, I would like my kid/s also to make effort and prepare costume for my little one. 

But to be honest, I haven't bought any costumes for this trick or treat. Maybe because I was too busy with my work or I don't have an idea what I would like to wear for my son. Another thing is, when I asked Matt if he likes to be Superman, Batman etc., He didn't like eh, it's hot daw. Buti na lang di na ko napagastos ng 700-1K pesos for a costume. 

Thanks to the Book "Benny and the Spider", Benny is the scarecrow and the friend of the spider. Matt' loves that book by the way. I've got an idea, a day before the trick or treat party at SM Centerpoint!

He had a DIY scarecrow costume! The only thing that I buy is the old man's hat at SM. It only costs 70 pesos. Then I used the paper wrapper of the hat and put on his long sleeves and pants. Then I used my lipstick and eyeliner on his face. But na lang pala di sya nagka allergy. But, then Feel na Feel ng bagets ang outfit! haha 

He is too cute to scare people! haha

Sayang lang di na namin natapos ang program because I need to go to office and Matt was so tired and sleepy too. Kids in our condo, had  a trick or treat party too, so he used his costume twice! Sulit dba?

Bonding time on Independence Day!

It's Independence day, Dadda Jet went to the office because their office moved the holiday much earlier.  

I chose to work from home but before I start we drop by at SM Sta. Mesa. I know that Matt always wish to play at the playground even when he was one year old with bounce bounce. But the rate are not reasonable in some malls and we think that he is still young for that activity. It's Independence Day that I granted his wish, we tried to play for 30 minutes and look at my little boy. He doesn't know where he will start, he enjoyed a lot!

When Mommy can't get out inside the Ipad

Hi Anak,

Maybe you are wondering when one morning Mommy was not home for the whole day. you could only see Mommy inside the IPAD screen. Maybe you were amazed? And you think that it would be easy for you to touch Mommy? You asked your Dadda to go upstairs because you think I was only hiding there. 

Sorry anak, but Mommy was bit far from you. I am in US, remember when I told you the day before I flew that Mommy will just go to US. And I will miss you so much darling. I think you are very bright boy, because when Tita Ana (our family friend) asked you "Where is your mommy?" you answered US. She even confirmed with nanay. Hehe. I was not expecting that you will gonna absorb what I told you.


You want to make power hugs and play with Mommy. You just play peek a boo and hug the IPAD. I know you already missed me. I missed you too, anak. I was little guilty that I left you and you were only 2 years old. I know and I really feel that you love me so much. But God has plans for us, anak. I know even I am away from you in 3 weeks, I am not that bad Mommy.  Hope in God's time we could also have vacation in US, hope to bring you here too! I love you and forever I will.

When we asked you how old are you. You know that you are TWO!

I am so proud to be your Mommy. You are the coolest, cutest, sweetest creature I ever known here on earth. 

They say that you are bright baby, your skills are advanced compared to other kids of your age. 

You love Cars! You are Disney Cars fanatic! . 

You even memorized the Characters of Disney cars! Mc Queen, Mater, Luigi, Filmore,Guido, Doc Hudson to name the few. 

 You even love Trucks! Trucks! Wow Trucks.. Big Big Trucks! you always love to say that. Sometimes we go to a construction area and you were so amaze watching those trucks!

How you wish you could ride also in a motorcycle by your own... but maybe let's wait for 2 years more darling..

I am proud that before you turned two, you knows how to eat by your self!

You've been sick, and I hate that you used the nebulizer because you had asthma. 

It really pains on Mommy to see you are sick my little boy. 

You love to play sands, you love the beach, you love to swim swim swim! "Chwim Chwim Chwim"

You love to make friends and give smile to everyone. .

You even wave your hands to say good bye every time we ride a taxi or going out from elevator. 

Happy Birthday Mr. Pogi! Thank you for bring us joy.. and for being our lucky charm. I love you forever!

Not so obvious what are his addictions! Cars, cars, trucks, trucks! Watching the never ending Disney Cars 1 and Disney Cars 2. And he's most favorite was Lightning McQueen of course. Ka chao! He even learned how to park them before we sleep! 

Maybe our Little Matt will be an Engineer when he grows up?

And look our little boy is so happy with his new set of toys from her godparent. Another collection!

He was so in hurry to going downstairs, to my surprise he was able to put his crocs on! Another milestone for our Matt! I noticed your crocs are bit small, need to buy a bigger one soon. Age: 20 months

Father and Son moments

I always love seeing my two boys together.  I know how God loves thru them.

 Even Dadda Jet was  not with us before Matt’s first year, siguro nga ito ang lukso ng dugo. I know Matt loves his Dadda so much.

I am proud of my hubby, even if I left the house for a whole day and without a helper I know they could survive and he will take good care of our son!  Very good Dadda Jet! I love you both.

Matt's First Christmas at Ilocos Dec2012

It's our first time to celebrate Christmas as family  in hubby's hometown in Ilocos.

Aside from Jet's brothers wedding, Christmas is usually their family reunion.
